The Pipettes/ 60s girl-pop revival. The effect of post-spicegirls "girl power" pop.

The Pipettes- Your Kisses
The Pipettes- I love you
A rejuvination of the 60s/70s girl-pop group sensation/ early motown. For the original Pipettes, download The Shangri-Las, The Shirelles, The Ronettes, The Crystals or for kind-of similar stuff, but better, look for Wanda Jackson. Phil Spector was pretty much the founder of the good 60s girl-pop. he also produced Robson and Jerome, The Ramones and worked with the Beatles, plus being an inspiration for shoegazing music, which even the least pretentious of us most probably loves.
They're originally from Brighton. I met a member (they all pretty much look the same to me- all i really see is polka dot dress and good hair) of the Pipettes once in a chicken shop on charing cross road in london at about four in the morning with cyanidetongueand others. We talked about shit clubs and chicken bugers, exact conversations i fail to remember but i remember we'd had a more fun night that she had. good times.
